About This Course

This 2-CEH course develops a practical construction-cost-estimating framework that connects project definition to quantities, pricing assumptions, production expectations, market conditions, uncertainty, and risk.

Learners examine estimate purpose and classification, basis-of-estimate documentation, work breakdown structures, quantity takeoff and traceability, parametric and historical estimating, unit-price and cost-based methods, labor/material/equipment/subcontractor cost build-up, indirects, contingency, escalation, risk treatment, estimate review and reconciliation, and construction-change evaluation.

The course concludes with a 10-question multiple-choice final examination. A score of 70% is required to pass.
