About This Course

Designed for Florida-licensed Professional Engineers, this 1 CEH/PDH self-paced correspondence course provides a focused update on the statutes, Florida Board of Professional Engineers rules, disciplinary matters, and practice requirements governing engineering in Florida.

The course reviews material changes from the March 1, 2023–February 28, 2025 biennium and explains their practical implications, then closes with current-practice guidance checked through August 27, 2026. Topics include Chapters 455 and 471, Chapter 61G15, FBPE and FEMC, continuing-education compliance, delegated engineering, signing and sealing, responsible charge, disciplinary matters, and unlicensed practice.

The course carries 1 CEH/PDH, targets 60 minutes of instructional time exclusive of the final examination, and concludes with a 10-question multiple-choice examination. A score of 70% is required to pass; retakes are permitted until passed.
