About This Course
Transportation projects are built from a coordinated body of information rather than from a single drawing set. This 4-CEH course develops a disciplined engineering approach to transportation plans, specifications, standard plans, approved submittals, RFIs, change documents, inspection and testing records, field observations, nonconforming work, and closeout documentation.
Learners examine how to identify controlling requirements, recognize multidisciplinary roadway/drainage/utility/traffic/structure/accessibility conflicts, distinguish field observation from engineering judgment, evaluate deviations and failed tests, use controlled disposition pathways, preserve traceable quality records, and integrate authorized changes into final as-built/record information.
The course concludes with a 10-question multiple-choice final examination. A score of 70% is required to pass, and retakes are permitted until passed.
