About This Package

For engineers working across Florida water-infrastructure projects

Choose this online renewal package when your civil or environmental practice connects wastewater-system performance, coastal permitting and stormwater infrastructure. Its eleven-hour specialty selection addresses three related project needs: understanding system behavior, defining environmental approvals and evaluating drainage constraints.

What the three specialty courses cover

Four hours of coastal wastewater instruction address inflow and infiltration, high groundwater, tidal and sea-level effects, lift-station continuity and rehabilitation priorities. Four hours of Florida coastal permitting cover CCCL, Joint Coastal Permits, sovereign submerged lands, environmental requirements and USACE coordination. Three hours of roadway drainage examine runoff, inlet capture, pipe-capacity checks, hydraulic grade, detention storage and green-street constraints.

Five additional engineering hours in lifecycle-cost decisions, risk assessment and construction safety support comparing infrastructure options and documenting uncertainty. One hour each of Florida Laws & Rules and Engineering Ethics completes the 18-hour package.

Why choose this over the single-focus packages?

Environmental / Wastewater and Environmental / Permitting each pair one four-hour specialty course with the common 14-hour core. Water Infrastructure includes all three specialty subjects and a different supporting curriculum. The eleven-PDH Coastal Water Infrastructure technical bundle contains those same three courses without Laws & Rules, Ethics or the supporting five engineering hours.

Credits and exclusions

Includes 18 CEH/PDH: 1 Laws & Rules, 1 Ethics and 16 engineering hours. Confirm at least four technical hours match your area of practice. This is professional-engineer continuing education, not operator certification or project-specific permit approval. An Advanced Florida Building Code course is not included; obtain it separately when applicable. Check shared courses and prior completions before choosing multiple environmental packages.
