MyNCEES recordkeeping

NCEES CPC Tracking for Professional Engineers

CPC Tracking is a free MyNCEES service for engineers and surveyors to track continuing professional competency, compare selected board requirements with completed activities, upload supporting documentation, and transmit a completed CPC report to participating licensing boards.

What CPC Tracking does—and what it does not do

It can organize and compare

Add licensing boards and renewal periods, enter completed CPC activities and PDHs, upload supporting documentation, compare progress against board requirements, and transmit a completed report where supported.

It does not replace the board

The state licensing board determines the renewal period and regulatory requirements. NCEES itself tells users to check with the state board for specific requirements.

A cleaner CPC recordkeeping workflow

Add the board and correct renewal period.

Keep each license connected to the period the jurisdiction actually uses.

Enter activities as they are completed.

Record the course or activity information and the PDH credit being claimed instead of waiting until renewal.

Upload supporting documentation.

Keep certificates and other evidence with the activity so the record can support a later board submission or review.

Compare requirements and completed activity.

Use the board view to identify missing requirements before the renewal deadline.

Transmit only when the board's process calls for it.

Check the licensing board's current instructions rather than assuming every jurisdiction uses the same NCEES submission workflow.

Primary sources and further verification

BuilderCE uses primary regulatory and professional sources for material claims. Requirements and services can change; verify the current rule for the license or application you are handling.
